How is Olive Oil Made?

After grinding, there are two main ways to extract oil from pulp. The most traditional approach is to layer pulp between large hemp discs and hydraulically press them. The modern alternative is using a centrifuge to spin the pulp and siphon out the oil. This is a simple process that delivers an entirely natural product. Finally, rather than disposing of the remaining pulp, it can be recycled and used as animal feed to ensure there’s zero waste in the production process.
