:: about ::

enjoy some of my ideas and analysis. Unashamedly Green and much of what you will find here relates to Green politics. However write on a range of other current state and national political issues with wider appeal.

worked for the Greens for over 10 years first as volunteer then as a staffer for Bob Brown. Having held various positions at state local and national level for Greens, moved back to Sydney to seek preselection on the Greens Legislative Council ticket for the next NSW state election where selected as the third candidate on the Greens ticket. recently finished a stint working for the Greens MLC Ian Cohen in the NSW Upper House and am now working with businessman Ian Melrose for justice for West Papua. Mr Melrose is the Australian who funded the successful TV advertising campaign that criticised the Australian Government's unfair claims on East Timor's oil and gas reserves.

interest in Green politics stretches far beyond Australia. spent time in New Zealand during election campaigns, and took a six month sabbatical based in Brussels to observe the European Greens campaign for the European parliament elections.

passion is politics, my training and expertise lies in communications. radio and miss involved in community radio, but have recently begun a new segment Greenwash on 2SER which can be heard at 8.30am on Wednesday's in Sydney on 107.3
